A highly anticipated event leading up to the holidays, Berkeley Higashi Honganji’s annual mochitsuki fundraiser brings the community together to make and sell traditional rice cakes for the New Year holiday. The temple is excited to continue this cultural event in 2023.

• Mochi orders are due by Sunday, November 26th. Pre-orders only.

• Pickup is on Sunday, December 10th at the Berkeley temple between Noon-3 PM
