For team managers and coaches: Please read new game rules and take special note of the sportsmanship requirements!)
Just some reminders about preparing for games:
Go to the Enchantees website and print out the game rules and the game set up information http://www.enchantees.org/EBGALInformation/tabid/59/Default.aspx
Bring the game rules to each game--they're supposed to be at the clock table.
1) Assign snack/time/score duties to parents. See game set-up sheet for which duties home vs visiting teams are responsible for.
2) Bring money to pay the refs for each game. Each team is responsible for $27 per game. All games should have 2 refs (each one gets $27). If there is only 1 ref, their fee is $40--each team pays $20). Please bring cash in an envelope and place it on the clock table at the start of each game. You all should have received a check from Ohtani to cover this cost.
3) Have a roster list (players and jersey numbers) for the opposing team to copy for scoring.
4) Please take special note of the sportsmanship rules. The league's philosophy to to keep the games competitive for both teams!
5) Special instructions for Alameda Point--the league does NOT rent all the courts in the gym. Coaches and managers must supervise players and families--KEEP EVERYONE OFF THE COURTS THAT ARE NOT BEING USED FOR GAMES. It's important to keep our relations with the gym management in good standing. Players should not play/practice on unused courts. In the past we've even been reprimanded for sitting/standing on unused courts.
6) Should anything go wrong at game time (gym not open, 2 refs are not available, complaints about gym/refs) call Carrie Hibbs ASAP.
7) Sumit game scores to Carrie Hibbs by Sunday evening.
