Berkeley Higashi Honganji’s annual mochitsuki fundraiser brings the community together to make and sell traditional rice cakes for the New Year holiday. The temple is excited to continue this cultural event in 2025.

Pickup is on Sunday, December 14th at the Berkeley temple between Noon-3 PM

A favorite summer tradition, the 2026 annual summer bazaar promises all of your favorite festival food: teriyaki chicken, kushikatsu, oden, curry rice, chirashi, udon, inari sushi, kurimanju, beer, sake, and more!
