TOURNAMENT DETAILS

• Date: Sunday, February 22nd, 2026

• Venue: Berkeley High School | Map | Directions + Parking

  • Entry to the lots is from Bancroft Way or Durant Ave.

  • Most adjacent street parking is free on Sundays but please read posted signs carefully.

  • Please note the entry gates to the school from MLK Jr. Way are often locked.

• Schedule:

  • Schedule by Division

  • Schedule by Gym

• Teams: This tournament is for K-6 EE (co-ed), E (co-ed), and D (boys and girls) teams.

• Divisions:

  • D Boys and Girls: Grades 5-6

  • E/EE Co-ed (mixed team): Grades K-4

• Games: All participating teams will play two games.

• Rosters: Team rosters are restricted to players who have participated on that team during league play—no exceptions.

TOURNAMENT + DIVISION GUIDELINES

• Ohtani Jamboree 2026 Rules

• ALL divisions except for EE will use 10-foot baskets, EE division will play on 8’ rims.

  • EE division teams use a 27.5" ball

  • EE1 teams to agree on 27.5” or 28.5” ball

  • E and D divisions both use a 28.5" ball

• Safety Requirement: Absolutely no jewelry allowed during games, including taping over jewelry

• Ohtani Basketball reserves the right to accept and place teams as we see appropriate to maintain a competitive basketball tournament.

• We encourage everyone involved to be supportive of all the players and set a good example of good sportsmanship.

• We highly value the positive learning style of recreational play over the winning at all costs style of competitive play and hope participating teams will honor this philosophy.
