Berkeley Higashi Honganji’s annual mochitsuki fundraiser brings the community together to make and sell traditional rice cakes for the New Year holiday. The temple is excited to continue this cultural event in 2026.

Pickup is on Sunday, December 13th at the Berkeley temple between Noon-3 PM
